PRESSURE CLEANING REQUIRES SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Never use hot water to clean vinyl siding. Hot water will damage (warp or melt) vinyl siding.
  • Never use hot water to clean thermal (dual pane) windows. Hot water may cause permanent "fogging" to occur between the layers of glass.
  • Never use high pressure when cleaning aluminum or vinyl siding. High pressure can dent aluminum siding & may crack vinyl siding. High pressure can also loosen siding from your home.
  • Never use high pressure when cleaning brick. Too much pressure will damage the mortar.
  • Never use high pressure on dryvit or stucco. Both surfaces are extremely soft.
  • Never use high pressure on wood products of any kind. Excessive pressure can cause cracking and "furring", requiring the wood to be replaced.
  • Never use high pressure to clean asphalt shingles.
  • Never spray directly into the seams. Incorrect spraying may cause flooding behind the siding, damaging the surface and creating conditions for future problems. The same is true for eves, awnings & overhangs.
  • Never spray into electrical outlets or lights.
  • Water alone will not effectively clean your home. If you have mold, mildew, moss or any number of species of fungus growing on your property, you must use chemicals. Water alone will remove only the growth visible to the naked eye. The growth is guaranteed to return in a very short time.
  • Proper cleaning of all surfaces should include the application of chemicals specific to the surface you are cleaning. By using the correct chemical, less water pressure will be required, reducing the risk of damage to your property.
